Course Work
The applied A level course consists of 6 modules 4 of which are coursework Some 60% of your time is therefore spent preparing coursework. Coursework involves the development of practical skill, in the use of packages and equipment rather than the gain of theoretical knowledge.
Limitations of the markup languages used to prepare web pages - particularly when creating more complicated layouts make it more convenient to make DTP files for guidance in these areas. Much of the material for the coursework is therefore found as PDF format files on the R: drive of the schools network rather than here.
Two sets of notes are provided:
- The creation of Gantt Charts
- SSADM notation for Data Flow Diagrams
