Spreadsheets
It is important to remember to use the word spreadsheet in the exam NOT EXCEL becuase there are numerous other products many of which are better than excel for some purposes. For example many schools use Autograph to draw graphs in maths. This has many features of a spreadsheet. Lotus 1-2-3 Quatro Pro and Open Office Calc are examples of this type of program.
The notes here come in two parts the first seven notes pages provide a quick guide to Excel because you are using this package in your work. Despite the fact you may think you know how to use Excel there are a lot of common mistakes discussed here. The final three pages are notes to help you revise for the exams.
